2026 International Agricultural Show: 200 years of student life
February 16 2026At the 2026 International Agricultural Show, AgroParisTech is celebrating 200 years of education, research, and innovation—and 200 years of student life—since the creation of the Royal Agricultural Institution of Grignon in 1826. Come and see us in Pavilion 5, Aisle A, Stand 057 from February 21 to March 1.
200 years of training, research, and innovation
Two centuries of commitment to life, agriculture, food, forestry, and the environment, embodied today by a new generation of committed, creative, and action-oriented students. At its stand, the school highlights this dynamism through activities, demonstrations and highlights led by its entire community, sharing with the public the solutions and energies that are building the future of life.
Reaching out to different audiences
Designed as a place for scientific mediation and knowledge transfer, the AgroParisTech stand is intended to be a venue for privileged exchanges between those who make up the institution (administrative and technical staff, teachers, researchers, students, etc.) and the general public, the agricultural world and its professionals, and political decision-makers. This year, our student associations are mobilizing to the delight of visitors. Blairoudeurs, Pompom, Supporters, fanfare… this is an opportunity to discover the vitality and richness of student life at AgroParisTech! Student projects will also be highlighted throughout these nine days.
At the heart of the agricultural curiosity cabinet, the AgroParisTech collections
AgroParisTech, through its Musée du Vivant (Museum of Life), contributes to the sensitive and surprising exploration of the agricultural world. As part of Agri’Curiosité, the agricultural cabinet of curiosities at the International Agricultural Show, around thirty works and objects from the institution’s collections have been loaned. Photographs, documents, heritage objects, and emblematic pieces enrich this journey dedicated to ingenious, inventive, and sometimes little-known agriculture. Through these loans, the Musée du Vivant shares its perspective on the history of know-how, techniques, and representations of living things, and helps to foster dialogue between heritage, science, and society. This contribution is fully in line with AgroParisTech’s mission: to transmit, enlighten, and stimulate curiosity about the deep links between agriculture, the environment, and human cultures.
