Double-degrees
October 03 2025AgroParisTech is committed to facilitating international double degree opportunities for its students and promotes the intake of international students into its programs. Such mobilities allow for the full recognition of the international dimension of their studies.
These opportunities are available at different academic levels (engineering, master’s, PhD):

As part of multilateral programs, such as European projects. In particular, AgroParisTech is involved in several Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees and European doctoral networks.

As part of specific agreements, for instance for joint supervision of theses.
As part of partnerships agreements covering multiple students for specific programs, namely the ones listed below.
Double-degrees in Engineering
Université de Liège – Gembloux Agro-BioTech (ULiège – Gembloux Agro-BioTech)
This double-degree program allows students initially enrolled at:
-
ULiège – Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech in one of the masters in Bioscience Engineering to come and study for 2 years at AgroParisTech within the Engineering curriculum,
-
AgroParisTech within the Engineering curriculum to go and study for 2 years at ULiège – Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech in one of the masters in Bioscience Engineering.
At the end of these 2 years, students will receive a degree from each institution, namely the “Diplôme d’Ingénieur AgroParisTech” and one of the four masters in Bioscience Engineering from ULiège – Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech:

Master in Bioscience Engineering: Environmental Sciences and Technologies,

Master in Bioscience Engineering: Forest and Nature Management,

Master in Bioscience Engineering: Agricultural Sciences,
-
Master in Bioscience Engineering: Chemistry and Bioindustries.
To apply, students from each institution must first contact their home institution. AgroParisTech students must get in touch with the European and International Relations Office (Direction des Relations Internationales et Européennes, DRIE).
University of São Paulo – Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture (USP-ESALQ)
This double-degree program allows students initially enrolled at:

USP-ESALQ in pursuit of the degree in “Agronomic Engineering” or “Forestry Engineering” to come and study for 2 years at AgroParisTech within the Engineering curriculum,
-
AgroParisTech within the Engineering curriculum to go and study for 3 semesters at USP-ESALQ (8th, 9th and 10th semesters plus the final-year project) within the programs in Agronomic or Forestry Engineering.
At the end of these 2 years, students will receive a degree from each institution, namely the “Diplôme d’Ingénieur AgroParisTech” and the degree in “Agronomic Engineering” or “Forestry Engineering” from USP-ESALQ.
Students from USP-ESALQ must apply via the ParisTech International Admission Program.
AgroParisTech students must get in touch with the European and International Relations Office (Direction des Relations Internationales et Européennes, DRIE).
University of São Paulo – Faculty of Animal Science and Food Engineering (USP-FZEA)
This double-degree program allows students initially enrolled at:

USP-FZEA in pursuit of the degree in “Food Engineering” or “Biosystems Engineering” to come and study for 2 years at AgroParisTech within the Engineering curriculum,

AgroParisTech within the Engineering curriculum to go and study for 3 semesters at USP-FZEA (8th, 9th and 10th semesters plus the final-year project) within the programs in Food or Biosystems Engineering.
At the end of these 2 years, students will receive a degree from each institution, namely the “Diplôme d’Ingénieur AgroParisTech” and the degree in “Food Engineering” or “Biosystems Engineering” from USP-FZEA.
Students from USP-FZEA must apply via the ParisTech International Admission Program.

State University of Campinas – Faculty of Food Engineering (UNICAMP-FEA)
This double-degree program allows students initially enrolled at:

UNICAMP-FEA in pursuit of the degree in “Food Engineering” to come and study for 2 years at AgroParisTech within the Engineering curriculum,

AgroParisTech within the Engineering curriculum to go and study for 3 semesters at UNICAMP-FEA (8th, 9th and 10th semesters plus the final-year project) within the program in Food Engineering.
At the end of these 2 years, students will receive a degree from each institution, namely the “Diplôme d’Ingénieur AgroParisTech” and the degree in “Food Engineering” from UNICAMP-FEA.
Students from UNICAMP-FEA must apply via the ParisTech International Admission Program.

Polytechnique Montréal (PolyMTL)
This double-degree program allows students initially enrolled at:

PolyMTL, after 4 years of higher education according to the French academic system, to to come and study for 2 years at AgroParisTech within the Engineering curriculum,

AgroParisTech within the Engineering curriculum to go and study for 2 years at PolyMTL within a “Research” or “Professional” master’s degree.
At the end of these 2 years, students will receive a degree from each institution.

Tongji University – College of Environmental Science and Engineering (Tongji-CESE)
This double-degree program allows students enrolled at Tongji in the programs in Environmental or Municipal Engineering to come and study for 2 years at AgroParisTech within the Engineering curriculum. At the end of these 2 years, students will receive a degree from each institution.
Students from AgroParisTech can carry out internships in Tongji’s research laboratories.

University of Carthage – National Agronomic Institute of Tunisia (INAT)
This double-degree program allows students initially enrolled at:

INAT in pursuit of the “Diplôme national d’ingénieur de l’INAT » to come and study for 2 years at AgroParisTech within the Engineering curriculum,
-
AgroParisTech within the Engineering curriculum to go and study for 2 years at INAT within the Engineering curriculum.
At the end of these 2 years, students will receive a degree from each institution, namely the “Diplôme d’Ingénieur AgroParisTech” and the “Diplôme national d’ingénieur de l’INAT”.

Double Master's Degrees
University of Liège (ULiège) and Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB)
This double-degree in Agroecology is designed as a 2-year joint program with the first year spent in Belgium and the second year in France. Eligible students are selected jointly by the partners prior to their enrolment in the first year of the program.
At the end of these 2 years, students will receive:

the “Agrosciences, Environment, Territory, Landscape and Forests” (AETPF) master’s degree, study track “From Agronomy to Agroecology” (AAE), awarded by the Université Paris-Saclay and coordinated by AgroParisTech,
-
the master’s degree in Agroecology delivered jointly by ULiège et l’ULB.

University of Barcelona (UB)
This double-degree in Water Sciences is designed as a 2-year joint program. It is open to all study tracks from the “Science de l’eau” master’s degree at AgroParisTech. Each student must earn 60 ECTS in each country. Students enrolled in France must carry out their M1 internship and S3 (1st semester of the second year of the program) in Spain. The location of the S4 (2nd semester of the second year of the program) is up to the student. The same applies to students enrolled in Spain, only they must go to France for their internship and S3.
At the end of these 2 years, students will receive:

the “Ciencia y Gestión Integral del Agua” master’s degree from UB,
-
the “Science de l’eau” master’s degree delivered jointly by AgroParisTech, the University of Montpellier, L’Institut Ago Montpellier and the University of Montpellier Paul-Valéry.

Hassan II Institute of Agronomy & Veterinary Medicine (IAV Hassan II)
This double-degree program is for the “Agrosciences, Environment, Territory, Landscape and Forests” (AETPF) master’s degree, study tracks “From Agronomy to Agroecology” (AAE), “Climate, land use and ecosystem services” (CLUES) and “Gestion des sols et services écosystémiques” (GSSE). It allows students at IAV Hassan II who have successfully completed the second year of the Engineering curriculum in “Agronomy” to come and study within the M2 AAE and to those who have successfully completed the second year of the Engineering curriculum in “Agricultural Engineering” to come and study within the M2 CLUES or GSSE at AgroParisTech.
Students who meet all requirements will receive a degree from each institution:

the “Diplôme National d’Ingénieur” from IAV Hassan II,
-
the “Agrosciences, Environment, Territory, Landscape and Forests” (AETPF) master’s degree, study track AAE or CLUES or GSSE, awarded by the Université Paris-Saclay and coordinated by AgroParisTech.
