Public transport - TAM network
Montpellier has a network of public transport and bike hire services. All the information you need:

Since 2023, public transport are completely free for residents of the “Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole”. To do this, you need to apply for Pass Gratuité.
The quickest way to get your Pass Gratuité is to go to one of the TAM offices after making an appointment.
Buy tickets while waiting for your Pass gratuité. Otherwise you risk being fined. Information on this page and at TAM offices.
Bus stops are optional. To stop the bus, wave to the driver and board the bus through the front door. When you want to get off, press the STOP button as soon as the vehicle leaves the stop before yours. You can only leave the bus through the rear doors.
