Six students from AgroParisTech at the Bonn intersessional meetings
June 12 2026From June 8 to 18, six students from AgroParisTech are participating in the Bonn Climate Intersessions, a major preparatory event ahead of the next Conference of the Parties (COP). Accredited as observers, Elisabeth Chesneau, Nora Senhaji, Laetitia Le Provost, Amédée Bahain, Ouattara Gonan Florent, and Nathan Fillon are representing the institution in the international climate negotiations.
A strategic step toward the next COP
Organized annually by the subsidiary bodies of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), the Bonn Intersessionals bring together representatives from the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA) and the Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI). Together, they prepare the key texts and decisions that will be discussed at the COP. Although receiving less media attention, these intersessional meetings are just as strategic and represent a high point in climate diplomacy.
Committed observers
Thanks to their observer status, AgroParisTech students have access to conferences, negotiations, and side events. They engage with official delegations, participate in awareness-raising and advocacy efforts, and share information about climate issues through their own channels. Their mission: to inform the AgroParisTech community and the general public about the progress of the negotiations, and to amplify the voice of young people committed to the climate.
