CSR COP 2026: a national student rally
June 02 2026On 4 April 2026, AgroParisTech Service Études, AgroParisTech’s student enterprise, organised the 5th edition of its CSR COP at the Académie du Climat. The event brought together 90 participants from 21 student enterprises to discuss issues relating to corporate social responsibility, environmental transition and collective engagement.
A collaborative day dedicated to the transition
For its 5th edition, the CSR COP brought together representatives from 21 junior enterprises from the Île-de-France region and across France, as well as the CSR committee and the presidency of the National Confederation of Junior Enterprises, at the Académie du Climat. The day focused on peer-to-peer exchanges: immersive workshops, open discussions and spontaneous contributions enabled each participant to play a full part in the collective discussion. ENGIE, an official partner, opened the proceedings by presenting its commitments to the energy transition, then led sessions on impact measurement and carbon footprint reduction alongside MakeSense and the Business Convention for Climate. External speakers also offered their complementary perspectives on the challenges of the ecological transition, combining literary insights with unconventional approaches.
Commitments formalised across the movement
The day concluded with a landmark event: the collective signing of the CSR Charter by all the student enterprises present. This document sets out operational and measurable commitments, notably the adoption of the RS-Score, a tool for assessing the environmental and social impact of the projects undertaken, as well as the allocation of at least 1% of turnover to CSR initiatives. The presence of the Director of Partnerships at AgroParisTech demonstrated the institution’s interest in this student-led initiative, praising the alignment between these commitments and AgroParisTech’s institutional vision.
Student engagement anchored in AgroParisTech's mission
The initiative led by AgroParisTech Service Études is fully in line with the school’s mission: to train engineers and professionals capable ofsupporting environmental, social and economic transitions. The themes addressed at this CSR COP (carbon footprint, organisational responsibility, ethics, social engagement) directly reflect the teaching provided at AgroParisTech, as well as the commitments underpinning its CSR policy and its ethics unit. The fact that its students are taking these issues on board within the national junior enterprise movement demonstrates a deep and practical understanding of these challenges.
