The table below provides an estimated monthly budget for a student beginning to study in France in 2025, excluding tuition fees. These estimates are provided for information purposes only and may vary depending on the region and your lifestyle:

The cost of travelling to and back from France from your home country is not included in this estimate.
*A security deposit may be required. It is usually equivalent to one month’s rent and will be refunded when you move out, provided no damage is found in the accomodation.
In addition to these expenses, students enrolled at AgroParisTech on a degree-seeking program must pay the Student and Campus Life Contribution (Contribution de vie étudiante et de campus, CVEC), which amounts to €105 in 2025. You are exempt from this contribution and do not need to take any action in the following cases:

You are enrolled in a continuing education program (e.g. Advanced Master),

You are an international exchange student in France.
