The Experimental Farm of Grignon

The experimental farm of Grignon is a mixed crop-livestock farm. It is located at 40km of Paris. There is dairy cattle and ovine meat cattle. Major crops are wheat, corn, rape, barley, meadows and alfalfa. The program « Grignon Energie Positive », aiming at reducing energy consumptions and greenhouse gas emissions of agricultural activities, was launched on the farm in 2005.
