At the present time, more than a billion people do not have access to clean water and 2.5 billion do not have the benefit of treatment facilities. The objectives of sustainable development, adopted by the UN, aim to cut in half by 2015 the number of people who do not have access to water of acceptable quality as well as adequate quantity. At Johannesburg, the French proposed an active and determined involvement in this field where France has recognized experience.

That is why the engineering schools of the ParisTech network, in partnership with the principal French companies of the Environment, offer a professional Master’s of Science and Technology in Environmental Engineering, specialized in the management and treatment of water, soil, and waste. This professional master’s aims to train high-level managers capable of intervening on the professional job market in an innovative way for the identification, management and treatment of environmental problems.
It is designed for foreign students who have a diploma validating 4 years of higher education.
It is also open to French nationals who have a diploma validating a level of studies “Bac + 4” as well as professional experience and who wish to enroll within the framework of professional continuing education. It meets a need expressed by French companies for the training of executive managers in emerging countries.
